The total renovation of a vacation apartment in the Swiss Alps, includes a completely new room layout. The originally small kitchen was connected with the storage room to a spacious kitchen-living room. Thanks to the new skylight and a choice of light materials, the new space receives a lot of light.
The development of a new access concept and the dissolution of the original corridor, made it possible to make bedroom and bathroom more spacious. The existing interior wood doors & windows, as well as the wood paneling, were completely sandblasted for a new and modern look with a light appearance. The existing flooring was different in each room. The uniform replacement of the flooring results in a more generous perception of the space.
